I would like to introduce myself, my name is Martino Appuzzo and I am the head chef here at Nuovo. I was born in Sorrento on the Costa D’ Amalfi and trained in the 5* Santa Catarina under the renowned Signor Cavalaere I then completed
my apprenticeship at the exclusive Cipriani Hotel in Venice.Then went on to become assistant head chef at famous “Alfredos” before embarking on various top Italian kitchens here in the U.K. At Nuovo I have a team of 7 executive chefs who between us have over 100 years combined experience in Italian kitchens. We know that our reputation is only as good as the next dish to leave our kitchen and so are dedicated to ensuring that each dish is prepared to our demanding high standard.
Our fish, meats fruits and veg are carefully selected daily from the markets to guarantee the “Fresh new taste” of our food. Every dish on our menu is prepared from fresh on the premises using only the finest ingredients. It is my desire for you to remain as excited about the food at Nuovo as I am so I constantly create a selection of daily specials for your added enjoyment. I have many passions in my life but food tops it all!
